Overview: Fonseca KDT Cadetes
Fonseca KDT Cadetes is named after its vitola, with a 36 ring gauge and a length of 115mm, this is the smallest of the Fonseca range. Filled with an elite blend of tobacco, this hand rolled cigar is held together by a rich Colorado wrapper and finished with a delicate white paper that carries the band, leaving this stick naked when smoked.
The KDT Cadetes had a distinctly woody flavour, while we also found chocolate to be at the top with dashes of vanilla and fruit also coming through. The amount of smoke this modestly sized cigar produced was impressive and extremely enjoyable for the 35 minutes it lasted.
We recommend this one anytime of day as it stands well alone or next to a glass of crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Definitely a nice place to start for beginners or anyone looking for a brief and delicious cigar, this is an excellent one for everyday smoking.
