The Montecristo Linea 1935 line is a recent addition to the brands portfolio being released in 2017, they contain an original blend of tobacco from the Pinar del Río region to create the strongest flavours with the most intensity within the Montecristo line.
The Montecristo Leyenda is a Gordo vitola, it has a 55 ring gauge and is 165mm in length. The cigars in the Linea 1935 line distinguish themselves from the rest of the brands offerings by a secondary band that carries their individual vitola names.
We found aromas of wood to be at the top, with the cold draw offering loads of sweet woody notes. Once lit the Intensity comes in quickly and the full strength of the cigar is on display, the smoke is thick, creamy and medium bodied, surely a result of being tripa larga, totalmente a mano – long filler, totally handmade, naturally.
We found a deep rich complexity to this bouquet, filled with sweet flavours of cappuccino and chocolate mixed with nutmeg. You can expect a smoke time of around 90 minutes for this cigar.
