Overview: Partagas Habaneros
The Partagas Habaneros is a Belvederes vitola with measurements of 125 mm with a 39 ring gauge.
The name of this cigar is commonly assumed to be named after the famously spicy habanero pepper, but it is more likely a nod to the Spanish translation of ‘habanero’ being a male resident of La Habana.
The Habaneros is a medium to full bodied smoke, full of nutty flavours mixed with cream coffee, and notes of sweetness mingled with spicy pepper to add some complexity to the profile. In the final third the intensity increases to a solid full and distinct flavours of pepper and leather carry through until the finish.
The cigars are an excellent smoke right out of the box, but would respond well to a year or two of aging. Pairs excellently with a Cuba Libre.
