Overview: Partagas Presidente
The Partagas Presidente is a Taco vitola, this format has a 47 ring gauge with a length of 158mm.
These cigars are handmade and filled with a long filler tobacco, resulting in the classic Partagas flavour profile and outstanding construction which gives this cigar an exceptional burn and razor sharp draw.
The Presidente starts off at a medium body, full of complexity and offering rich flavours of cedar, cocoa, and baking spices. In the second half the body and flavour reach a full strength, with additional flavours of espresso and black pepper pushing through. In the final third a hint of almond joins the bouquet, rounding out the intensity and giving a sweetness to the very long finish. Expect to enjoy this smoke for around 75 minutes.
These cigars were originally released pre 1960, meaning changes have been made to this beautiful smoke over time, but their foundation remains the same with some minor improvements and a slight decrease in their strength. Not recommended for beginners.
We recommend aging this cigar for at least four to five years and up to ten for it to reach its maximum potential.
